Convertible ("the app") is designed to respect your privacy. This policy explains what we do, and more importantly what we don't do, with your data.
Convertible converts files entirely on your Mac. Your files are never uploaded to a server, never transmitted over the network, and never stored anywhere other than your own computer. We have no access to any file you convert, at any time, for any reason.
The Convertible app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. It does not require an account. It does not include any analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or third-party data collection tools.
We use Simple Analytics to understand aggregate traffic to this website. Simple Analytics is a privacy-first, cookieless analytics service based in the EU. It does not collect personal data, does not use cookies, does not track users across sites, and does not create visitor profiles. We see aggregate numbers: which pages are visited, which country visitors come from at the country level, and which links get clicked. Nothing that identifies you personally. You can read their privacy-friendly approach at simpleanalytics.com.
Our Simple Analytics integration is configured with data-collect-dnt="true", which means it honors your browser's Do Not Track setting. If you have DNT enabled, no analytics request is recorded for your visit.
The Convertible Mac app itself still performs zero tracking and makes zero network calls except to Apple for StoreKit. Only this website uses analytics.
This website sets zero cookies. Not for analytics, not for preferences, not for anything else. You will not see a cookie banner here because there is nothing to consent to.
This website is served through Cloudflare for performance and security (CDN caching, TLS termination, and protection against abuse). As part of routing requests to our site, Cloudflare may process connection metadata such as your IP address and request headers, in line with its own privacy practices. You can read Cloudflare's privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.
If you have enabled "Share with App Developers" in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, macOS may deliver anonymized crash reports to us through Apple's MetricKit framework. These reports are handled entirely by Apple's privacy-respecting infrastructure and contain no file contents or personal data. You can opt out at any time in System Settings.
Convertible also writes local crash logs to ~/Library/Logs/Convertible/ on your Mac. These logs never leave your computer unless you manually attach them to a bug report email.
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store or StoreKit. We never see your payment information. Apple handles all transaction data according to its own privacy policy.
The only network activity Convertible initiates is purchase verification through Apple's StoreKit framework. The app is fully functional offline after purchase.
Convertible is developed by an individual based in Ireland, within the European Economic Area. As Convertible does not collect, store, or process any personal data, there is no data to access, correct, delete, or export under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or any other applicable data protection law.

Convertible is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. The app does not require an account and collects no personal data from any user regardless of age.
